It’s a new week, which means more casting news for CBS’ Supergirl and this one has a big Greg Berlanti connection! TVLine broke the exclusive news that actor Levi Miller, who will be portraying Peter Pan in the upcoming Pan movie (that comes from executive producer Greg Berlanti) has joined the DC Universe as the son of Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart) and will be making his debut on Supergirl in the fourth episode. Here is how TVLine describes Miller’s character:
“12-year-old Carter is “sensitive and shy” and “couldn’t be more different from his mom.” As Melissa Benoist’s Kara babysits her boss’s son and gets to know him better, “Carter finally opens up to her — revealing his true feelings for Supergirl.”
Berlanti said this in a statement to TVLine:
“We loved working with him so much on Pan, we were excited to bring him into Supergirl‘s universe. He’s an exceptional young actor and a part of the Berlanti Productions family. It will be fun for audiences, who we know will fall in love with him as Peter in Pan on Oct 9, to see his range with his turn as Calista Flockhart’s American son.”
As TVLine also points out, Miller’s character on Supergirl isn’t based on Adam Morgan who is Cat’s son in the comic books. This casting comes after the recent news that Brit Morgan has been cast as DC baddie Livewire and Justice Leak will be bringing Hellgrammite to life.
Supergirl will have its series premiere on Monday, October 26 at 8:30 PM before going back to its regular time slot at 8 PM the following Monday, on CBS!
