I just wished that they had focused more on the Red Kryptonite, but it was a really great episode either way.
I’m pretty sure Astra’s full name was supposed to be “Astra In-Ze”
Yeah, that’s typically Alura’s family name, but I don’t know if that’s been specifically said on the CBS series.
Astra definitely has a different Kryptonian family glyph (on her black suit) than what Kara has on in “Falling”.
Finally got to watch this powerful episode and couldn’t wait to listen to the podcast. Melissa was incredible when she broke down, you felt it, and she got to do everything from playful mischief to rage to regret and sorrow. A totally new standard and high watermark for Red-K storytelling. The episode also has a ton of serial consequences that will carry onto future episodes. Wow.
I thought the friend of Supergirl was cute, though we take their eavesdropping as benevolent almost for granted… Kara seeing whatever she saw through the closet could be enough to end some friendships but they play it just for laughs, hah. So glad it sounds like- but not confirmed yet- we’re getting a season 2!
An epic episode of the show and the podcast.
