  1. Rachel Bernatowicz says:

Hi Carly, Morgan, and Rebecca, just wanted to clear up a bit of the confusion about Superman-X.
From what I can tell, the major similarity between that character and Mon-El (besides the fact that they’re both in the Superman ‘family’ so to speak) is that they share an immunity to Kryptonite. (I’m not sure if Superman-X’s weakness is lead? I don’t remember if that was stated or not) It was mentioned in his first appearance, but only became a plot point in the last episode of the series when Clark is almost killed and he has to save his life. (Also, other similarity, they both debuted in season 2 of their respective TV series, but that’s probably just a coincidence)
Also, Superman-X is similar to Superman, and there is a lot of talk about their differences because he is literally his clone, made in the 41st century from Clark’s DNA in order to fight Imperiex, season 2’s main villain. He travels to the 31st century to get the Legion’s help, but Imperiex follows him to their time and starts wreaking havoc then as well.
I think that’s about it, I love this podcast, can’t wait for the season 2 finale and what’s in store for season 3.

  2. Thanks for the clarifications, Rachel!
