The CW released today the official episode description for the fourth episode of Supergirl Season 3 titled “The Faithful”. This is the episode that will feature Chad Lowe (Brothers & Sisters, Pretty Little Liars) as Thomas Coville, a religious leader with “a surprising connection to Supergirl” as he has a cult that worships the Girl of Steel.
Lowe will also be back later this season but serve a different role as he will be working behind the camera. He will direct an unspecified episode at some point in Season 3. You can catch the official description below – be aware of potential spoilers though!

CHAD LOWE GUEST STARS — Kara (Melissa Benoist) investigates a secretive new group whose leader, Thomas Coville (guest star Chad Lowe), has a mysterious connection to Supergirl. Meanwhile, Samantha (Odette Annable) feels like she’s letting Ruby (guest star Emma Tremblay) down, and J’onn (David Harewood) confesses an old secret. Jesse Warn directed the episode written by Paula Yoo & Katie Rose Rogers (#304). Original airdate 10/30/2017.
