Season 5 of The CW drama Supergirl is looking to be its biggest year yet, with a milestone episode with the 100th episode, new foes, new chapters and a massive crossover that takes one of the biggest DC stories to screen. At this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, the cast and executive producers of Supergirl were present to preview the new season that will arrive in October. The Flash Podcast took part in the press room this year to discuss with the actors and executive producer on what to expect in Season 5.
Two of the talents that were present were Kara Zor-El herself as Melissa Benoist along with executive producer Sarah Schechter chatted with the press about things to look forward to in the new season. Things that they talked about included:
*Their excitement about the new Supergirl suit that will be featured in Season 5.
*How Leviathan will be different as a big bad as this will be a more technological antagonist compared to others.
*Their excitement about the show hitting 100th episodes this season.
*How they feel about getting to hit on topical themes within the series, especially in Season 4.
