Ryan sent in an email to share some thoughts on the Supergirl Season Six episode titled “Prom Night!”
This was what I was waiting for! This is the Supergirl I fell in love with. This was, in my opinion, the level that the show needs to aim for every week. Did the plot really make sense? Ehh. No idea why they needed to do half of what they did considering Kara losing her powers and facing a meteor had absolutely nothing to do with this episode, but to see these characters interact with each other was amazing! And while I really didn’t like that Crisis was brought up again, at least we know that Kenny is around (does this mean the whole teacher drug ring episode actually didn’t happen?). These Midvale episodes are always great and the show needs to focus on what works there and roll with it. I really love these younger actors and they felt like Kara and Alex! Let’s hope this quality continues!
