Hello, Supergirl Radio!
I just have a few thoughts on the episode “Ahimsa”:– This was a refreshing break from the “topical” overtones of the season, for the most part.– The solution to the Kryptonite problem came way too easily, right? I can’t complain too much, though, since a) I enjoyed the callback to nanites/Spheerical Industries and b) it means we get Supergirl back!– This episode seemed to mark the return of our heroes referring to themselves as heroes and explaining to others why they are heroes. I did not miss this from season 2, if I’m right in remembering that this kind of talk was rampant back when Guardian was first on the scene.– When toward the end of the episode Manchester said they needed to get Fiona to the hospital, I couldn’t help but wonder… are human hospitals equipped to deal with the various alien species and their varied physiological makeups? Are the hospitals just like “bring us your injured and, well, we’ll do our best”? Or maybe they were referring to an unnamed alien hospital out there somewhere. 🙂– Emily
