Gina wrote in to share her thoughts on the Supergirl Season 6 episode titled “A Few Good Women”!

So I feel like this is one of those episodes where the concept of it made it much more than it actually was. There was so much opportunity for emotion, which we did get some of it through J’onn and Alex, towards the end, but I don’t know, it wasn’t enough for the situation.For someone who’s supposed to be even more part of the group this season, Lena seemed REALLY far from the situation. She didn’t even mention Kara at all or no callback to Kara being sent to the Phantom Zone. All that emotion in the last episode between the two, and we get nada from Lena this episode.I hate that the Phantom Zone has ACTUAL Phantoms. I also hate that if actual phantoms exist and they show you your worst fears, that the show didn’t even give us a glimpse of what Kara sees when her eyes go white. I’m assuming that’s what’s happening, at least.Also, who allowed Jason Behr from Buffy/Roswell fame to be someone’s FATHER? I didn’t even recognize him until way later in the episode.Also, what’s up with recasting her father, too? Aye.I’m a little suspicious about Kara finding her actual father in the Phantom Zone. I don’t know if her getting her mother AND father back is conducive to her whole story arc about losing her whole world. I guess we’ll see…As much fun as the Luthors are, especially seeing them all together, I think we’re ready to move on from them, specifically Lex. It’s almost like bringing in Superman into a Supergirl show and just focusing on him. There is only one Luthor this show should be focusing on more and like Kara, Lena seems to get lost in all the Lex drama.– Gina
