New Rachel sent us an email, sharing some thoughts on the Supergirl season four episode titled “Crime and Punishment”!
Based on the trailer for this episode, I was all ready to talk about Brainy getting taken by the Children of Liberty, and get excited about Jesse Rath and Sam Witwer having screen time together again after previously being on Being Human together…but, then that all was revealed to be a dream, so that isn’t relevant anymore.That being said, I did really enjoy Brainy in this episode, especially the scene with his narration (although, I couldn’t hear it because my CW was having audio issues) and I do hope that deleting the alien registry won’t come back to hurt him. I also appreciate that he and Nia seem to be getting along better in the end, as even though I don’t ship them I’m still rooting for their friendship.
Elsewhere in the episode, Lena looked great as usual and was as brilliant as ever, there were some flirty vibes with Alex and Kelly, James got an actual storyline, and Kara’s finally doing her job some more! Can’t complain about that.– New Rachel
