Abby wrote in to share some thoughts on the Supergirl season four episode titled, “Blood Memory”!

Hello, Supergirl Radio!

While it is amazing to see Kara back at CatCo this season, I can’t help but either laugh or feel frustrated that she doesn’t really do her job. Did Kara use up all her sick days and vacation time? Because she’ using a story pitch as a disguise to go to Nia’s hometown. AND in the end, we didn’t even get a story! (I wonder if Parthas had a pelican problem too??)

The Game Night scene was cute and heartbreaking, for Alex and Kara’s relationship, and for James and Lena’s relationship. In regards, to James and Lena, the writers really need to show, not tell. Don’t get me wrong, I love cute sweater Lena trying to figure out how to win the games, but all I keep thinking of is the James and Lucy Game Night scene from season one.

I’m interested to find out who the source from L Corp is and I am disappointed that James is now hiding it from Lena. That couple never seems to catch a break! (Maybe they should break up…just saying.)

Lastly, I love the Nia storyline! She has instantly become a favorite of mine and I can’t wait to see what happens in the future. I thought the Supergirl reveal was well-written and that it made sense. However, I liked the idea that there was now a limited number of people who knew Kara’s secret.
