In this week’s episode of Supergirl Radio, Morgan Glennon and Rebecca Johnson begin the nine-week Supergirl hiatus by using a listener suggestion to look back at dropped storylines and characters they haven’t seen in a while.

There are a a few forgotten characters on the show good and evil have gotten the shaft and deserve to return. One in particular is Bizarro Supergirl performed by Hope Lauren. I like to see the writers do a story with her as Superman The Animated series with Bizarro in the episode of that cartoon called Bizarro’s World. I like to see the that turn into a fun episode for the female Bizarro and in the end to see her lay=ugh and happy thanks to Kara
J’onn also calls Indigo “Brainiac 8”, specific timestamp 27:38 of season 1 episode 15. And I would assume that she and Brainiac 5 are related, since in this series “Brainiac” is a family title given that Kelex said Indigo was a descendant of the Brainiac clan. Not completely sure how, maybe the numbers are arbitrary or they started over after all the information on Earth got destroyed. (Was that mass destruction only on Earth? Or did it extend to other planets too? I’m not sure that was specific)
Even though Brainiac 1 probably can’t be specifically referenced because of the Krypton show, which will have him as a main antagonist, if this show wants to get into Brainy’s family history Indigo is right there as someone for him to reference or even fight against. (Along with Vril Dox, again, from Adventures of Supergirl, because Brainy gave his name as Querl Dox. But he’s even less remembered than Indigo)
In the Supergirl Rebirth comics, Indigo is a member of the new Fatal Five, who are traditionally enemies of the Legion. It would be really fun to see her come back and fight Brainiac 5 if that’s also true here, although that probably won’t happen because budget.
Forgot to add this earlier, but another thing that’s apparently been forgotten/dropped/not expanded on: Clark has a Legion ring in the Fortress of Solitude. We’ve seen it twice, in 1×15 and 2×17, and since the Legion’s arrival Kara hasn’t commented on it and Mon-El has said nothing about Clark joining the Legion in the past.
Then again, Kara hasn’t seen the ring worn by any Legion members, because she wasn’t there to do so in 3×10, and the rings weren’t used in 3×11, 12, or 13. And perhaps Mon-El going into the future created a timeline where the ring looks different, and Clark did not train with them in that universe. But I would still appreciate if this were properly explained on the show.
