Next week’s episode looks to be Reign centric. The CW has just released the trailer for Supergirl season 3 episode 18, “Shelter From the Storm”, which airs next Monday, May 14, at 8/7 central. Over the season, it has been established that Sam’s (Odette Annabel) daughter Ruby (guest star Emma Tremblay) is her emotional anchor to her humanity. Therefore, Ruby is the one person Reign needs to destroy to cement her hold over Sam’s consciousness.

It’s a race to keep Ruby safe, and Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) could use all the help she can get, which includes seeking advice from Sam’s adoptive mother Patricia (Betty Buckley, Eight is Enough) because, as they say, “Mother knows best”.
