It looks like another alien race is coming to Supergirl right off the pages of DC Comics! Our friends at That Hashtag Show revealed today that an upcoming episode will feature the villainous Tormocks from the DC Universe. According to the breakdown from THS, the show is currently casting for a character named “Tormock.”
“[TORMOCK] Female, 20s-40s, open ethnicity. A warrior of Amazonian stature, jacked, tough and brutal, she is a fierce alien prisoner. Dangerous and angry, she gets into a violent fight…GUEST STAR”
As THS points out, Tormock is the name of a whole race as opposed to being a single character. Whoever is cast as the coming character will definitely be of the Tormocks but may have a different character name.
In the DC Comics lore, the Tormocks are a race of shapeshifting fascists. They have more than just the ability to alter their looks, but also the power to absorb inanimate objects while also incorporating them into their physiology.
