Secrets will be revealed on an all-new Supergirl episode titled “Dark Side of the Moon”, airing Monday, May 28 at 8/7 on the CW. The network has just released the official synopsis in which Kara (Melissa Benoist) learns that a part of her home planet survived destruction. How will this new knowledge have an effect on Kara, and will it be the key to helping the team defeat Reign once and for all? Meanwhile, Lena (Katie McGrath) has her own plans on how to save her friend Sam (Odette Annabel) from Reign, possibly with or without Supergirl’s help.
But could Lena’s methods cause more friction between Luthor and Supergirl down the road? While Kara is still choosing to lie to Lena about her secret identity, we also learned recently that Lena is lying to Supergirl about the kryptonite she used to contain Reign. Len has figured out how to create her own kryptonite, and while it may be helpful to stopping Reign now, continuing to manufacture it may erode whatever trust is left with Supergirl. How far is Lena willing to go to save her friend?
Check out the official synopsis below, and let us know whether you think SuperCorps’ friendship can survive this ethical dilemma!
