A couple of weeks ago, it was announced that Salem’s Iddo Goldberg had been cast on Supergirl as the DC Comics figures Red Tornado as well as his creator T.O. Morrow and since then, we have all been waiting to see what he would look like as the famous android. Luckily, Warner Bros. TV and CBS decided to give everyone a special treat as they revealed an official first look at Goldberg as the Red Tornado.

This will be the character’s official live-action debut when he shows up on Supergirl. When Goldberg was cast as both Red Tornado and T.O. Morrow, Warner Bros. TV described the Supergirl take on Red Tornado as following:
“Red Tornado is the most advanced android the world has ever seen. Designed by scientist T.O. Morrow for the U.S. Army as the ultimate superweapon, he soon becomes sentient, posing a grave danger to National City — including the people Supergirl cares about most.”
While we don’t know yet which specific episode he will be first showing up in, you may see him in the upcoming sizzle reel for season one which is going to be shown during the season two premiere of CBS’ Scorpion this coming Monday at 8 PM. Red Tornado is one of many characters that we will be seeing in the first season of Supergirl, along with characters like Non (who has yet to be cast), General Sam Lane, Livewire, Lucy Lane and more.
Supergirl will have its series premiere on Monday, October 26 at 8:30 PM before going back to its regular time slot at 8 PM the following Monday, on CBS. Let us know in the comments below what you think of the Red Tornado look!
