Really enjoyed the podcast, the Snap Judgments are a great segment every time!
    – SG vs. Reign
    – Leena x James
    – J’onn & Pops
    – Hot chocolate

Silly nitpick, but if you’re a Type-A Personality Top Executive, your time is not your own and heavily accounted for. I can buy Sam bumming Ruby out because of work because that’s what jobs like that entail. I can’t buy Sam losing hours to Reign and being fine with it (“PANCAKES!”), doing holiday parties and vision quests, without freaking out about the lost time.

Sort of a mirror to the real-estate question Morgan keeps raising is how these shows, generally (not SG-specific), is when do these people work or do their jobs?! 😛 Watch James copy-edit or Kara draft stories… that would be a boring show. But we do kinda feel only half their lives (when was the last time Iris acted as a reporter?). Anyways, great to catch up! I’ll get current on the rest of DCTV during the break!

  2. I’m glad to know that you enjoy the Snap Judgments! It’s fun for us and I’m glad to see your choices! 🙂

That’s a good point about the lost time with Sam. Would people from L-Corp ask her about where she’s been? Does she just have a lot of PTO time that she can use?

I wish the show would let Kara focus some on being a reporter. I wish they would show her connecting with someone in the city and writing a story on them. A good example is like how Clark Kent gets his job at The Daily Planet on Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. That’s a really sweet episode that and shows that Clark is willing to go the extra mile for somebody through his work as a journalist. That’s a way to use that side of Kara’s character without it being too boring.

Thanks for commenting and sharing your thoughts!
