    If Alex had shot Supergirl instead of Bizarro by mistake, I don’t think anything bad would have happened. I was very happy to see that the ammunition they developed was bright blue because in the original canon WAY back when I was a kid, blue kryptonite was deadly to Bizarros. I don’t know if that has changed, but originally blue kryptonite affected Bizarros the same way that green kryptonite affected normal Kryptonians, i.e. it would weaken and eventually kill them.
