    Hey Gals,
Another great episode! I just watched the two episodes you focused and have to say I love this interpretation of Supergirl. She’s cheerful and a go getter she wants to do good for the sale of doing good, much more fun than the current comics version (which I am reviewing on my youtube channel youtube.com/chrisbarnes47).
Funny you mention the nod to the Fleicher Superman, the animated series of Superman and Batman are full of things like that. Another great episode is Girls Night Out (a Batman episode) where Supergirl and Batgirl team up versus Ivy, Harley and Livewire.

    Looking forward to next week!

    Chris

PS the boom tube remote is called a mother box and Para-demons are the faceless stormtroopers of the DC world. Some good insight as to what they could get away with and what they couldn’t censorship wise can be found in the Batman animated series book!

I love your podcast. Are you going to talk about the animated movie Superman Batman Apocalypse? Supergirl is one of the main characters. Ed Asner does the voice of Granny Goodness in that movie also. Bruce Tim produced it. It is based on the Jeph Loeb and Michael Turner Supergirl story in the Superman Batman comic book. Keep up the great job you are doing ladies.

Thanks for the mention on the show. 🙂

In regards to Alura, if she does end up as a mentor to Kara, she’ll probably be a programmed hologram similar to Jor-El in Man of Steel and the first Superman movie with Christopher Reeve: able to give advice and answer questions. If that’s the case, I wonder if Supergirl will have her own “Fortress of Solitude” or will have access to the ship that brought her to Earth.

In terms of female villains, I won’t be surprised if they bring Silver Banshee, Maxima and a version of Live Wire over from the Superman rogues gallery. Possibly even Superwoman (Lois Lane’s sister who was given the powers of a Kryptonian during Sterling Gates’ run on Supergirl).

  4. I’ll definitely watch this show. But I’m disappointed they’re making Supergirl older. As I expressed on my blog. http://jaredmithrandirolorin.blogspot.com/2015/02/here-is-why-im-upset-about-upcoming.html

I love your Podcast, we need more Podcasts with women rather then men.
